POWERADE DRINKS WILL LACK A CONTROVERSIAL INGREDIENT (671 hits)

The Coca Cola makers of Power Aide, Fanta and Fresca are planning to remove a controversial ingredient for these flavored drinks. The recipe will lack the ingredient that may cause health risks to human. The ingredient brominated vegetable oil will be phased out of all it's PowerAde drinks. All due to petitions started by a Mississippi teenager Sarah Kavanagh who protested that the BVO contains a flame retardant. BVO is used in many flavored drinks as a stabilizer and is used to keep the fruit flavor in soft drinks and flavored drinks. The phase out is said to begin soon as Coca Cola companies both abroad and in the U.S. will be taking making it a global to take BVO from it's formulas.
The PowerAde has a flame retardant? That could cause a gaseous reaction... :) "If, you know what I mean" Q-Q
I don't drink those power drinks, but I know it's a top seller and a favorite of millions! However, I do like that Fanta Orange drink. :(
