Many of good answers I've gotten from talking to myself... but of course God is always listening and it is Him who has brought me the answers. People unconsciously listen to that inner voice but recognize it as a little light bub.
I talk to myself too. It's how I reason and balance wisdom as well as foolish decisions. The importance is recognizing the voice in yourself is doing exactly what you can discern from God. Normally, you know the examination of self comes to the right way God is pleased with. One usually can detect if something isn't quite right with a good heart God can give ya!
