Americans remembers the signing of President Lyndon Baines Johnson of The Civil Rights Act. Johnson signed the bill in 1963, but it was a year later that bill became law in April 1964.

President Obama spoke of new doors and opportunity because of the legacy to a audience at the LBJ Library on Thursday, April 10, 2014. The three day summit is held at the LBJ Library with Former Presidents attending and speaking include Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton and George W. Bush. President Johnson is known as the president who set in motion the equality of every American citizen and giving the bill a passing and signing the bill to law. The major effect in addition, brought highlights to the Civil Rights Movement to it's heights. History has shown that many of the changes were due to the unity of races to make the law a important part of American law. Celebrating 50 years however, many agree the impact has effected lives and that continual improvements or Civil Rights are also a forerunner which requires constant grooming. Most experts contend that the nation's goal is to encourage more improvements in community, education and fairness of equality beginning with the law, but continuing with actions of United States of American people.
