Flu epidemic has raced over the United States with toll of children deaths around 20 in one week. Doctors are warning that this really is called in epidemic because at least 10 to 14 deaths among younger children have been reported weekly in this year's seasonal flu period. In addition, doctors are also urging anyone who hasn't gotten a flu shot to get one as soon as possible. This year's strain of flu virus is not down considerably to last year's season, but in order to save lives vaccines are still available but may be harder to find. This current strain of flu has a least six to ten more weeks to go before it peaks and is over. That means thousands may die from the flu which though down from last year deaths but not exempt. To help keep spread, flu vaccine is encouraged, keeping limited contact with infected persons, and frequent hand washings may help combat the flu from getting the death of you.
