I Hung Out With Angels Bringing in the New Year (434 hits)

Let me share how my Angel encounters began.

On December 30, 2013, Walter (my husband and business partner), drove me to the Write Girl office to drop off one of the first copies, of a new journal, I wrote for teenage girls. (“My Song Lyrics Journal” to help teen girls get in touch with their feelings.)

Write Girl is a creative writing and mentoring organization to empower teen girls. I volunteer with their program for incarcerated teens. (A portion of each “My Song Lyrics Journal” coming soon…will go to Write Girl.)

I was so happy leaving their office. The blinding sun from a beautiful day was bathing my face. I didn’t see a curved step,and I came crashing down hard on my side. I actually heard my hip bone break.
