HOW TO HAVE AFFORDABLE HEALTH COVERAGE BY FEBRUARY 1, 2014 (817 hits)
It's a new year and it's another opportunity to have affordable health insurance.
I cannot emphasize enough how not being able to afford health coverage kept me and my family without quality healthcare or in debt with medical bills we could not pay. So many times I skipped taking my children to the doctors because we did not have and health insurance.
When I was raising my youngest son who was born a preemie, I did not plan on having medical debt. Medical debt is when you are suddenly faced with large medical bills that you cannot pay. This can result in bad credit and/or bankruptcy.
Obamacare protects persons from medical debt! It offers a variety of quality health insurance plans that are affordable. It is important to visit Healthcare.gov and apply, shop, and buy affordable health care. The good news is that you have until January 15, 2014, to GET COVERED. When you buy your insurance by that date, your health insurance will begin on February 1, 2014.
All across America, Advocates (you, me, us) have been working hard to spread the word and especially to young adults who are not invincible and need healthcare. Please continue to spread this information about the next deadline. We have to make our families and neighbors have health insurance!
