It's true that a study found 3 out of 5 people globally are obese...
Once again the focus of attention at the beginning of the year is obesity. As the results are definitive that the world eating habits has it inhabitants of humans growing fatter and fatter. This recent study reported by the BBC indicated that now where it was once 1 in five people who were sufferers of obesity, not the alarming rate is 3 out of 5 people. Now this has the attention also of governments and lawmakers to keep a close eye on the eating habits of it's civilians globally. Most common factors of obesity is dietary habits and lack of exercise to maintain a healthy weight. Most doctors and physical experts are suggesting diets with fruits, vegetables and less fat. However, the idea is to have people start eating better, but costly prices of eating better leaves many of the overweight buying and eating what costs less and that's fatty foods. New laws may also start to bring attention to labeling and less additives to food that contain high sugars and salt contents. However, many food consumers might are not buying anything that may threatened their free will to eat what they like even if may be healthier for them, government regulated or not.

Certainly, it is strange more people are overweight, when so many are hungry and go without food every day. I think these surveys target mainstream society and are omitting the poverty and the indigent people in the world. Great observation especially when you have a world view that includes the starving and sufferers of famine.
