@ Miisrael,

..."The French intervention to disarm fighters in the impoverished landlocked country has been largely welcomed by the Christian majority but many Muslims argue that operations against the remnants of Seleka have left them vulnerable to reprisals.

On Sunday several thousand Muslim supporters of Seleka protested in Bangui against the French troops.

Amnesty International says some 1,000 people have been killed since December 5, mostly by Muslim ex-rebels but also in Christian reprisal attacks, targeting Muslims, people from the country's north and Chadian nationals, along with all seen as complicit with Seleka."...

It saddens my heart to hear about all the unrest and also people of different groups fighting for their political parties when they should all be coming together for the common good of everyone despite their own political views. Why such utter depravity of human nature show itself at a time where we should still be remembering the great efforts of the great humanitarian the world just lost in former SA president Nelson Mandela?

..."Many in mostly Christian Bangui accuse Chad -- whose President Idriss Deby Itno has long been kingmaker in the country -- of masterminding the Seleka rebellion behind the March coup.

Djotodia has officially disbanded Seleka but some of its members went rogue, leading to months of killing, raping and pillaging -- and prompting Christians to form vigilante groups in response."...

Father in the Name of Jesus, We pray that that the upright shall dwell in the Government of Bangui (Central African Republic) that men and women of integrity, blameless and complete in Your sight, Father, shall remain; but the wicked shall be cut off and the treacherous shall be rooted out.

We pray that You direct the decisions made by leaders, and that present leaders who are men and women of discernment, understanding, and knowledge will remain in office so the stability of their nation will long continue.

We pray that the uncompromisingly righteous will be in authority in this Nation so people can rejoice, in Jesus Name. Amen!

Thank you Jen for the prayer. Always, we do need to remember others in disparity. We have to remember we are our brothers and sisters keepers too. We naturally who love God are concerned about well being of other nations of people as we are of our own.
