NOT TAKING VITAMINS COULD SAVE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR HEALTH (1073 hits)
YOUR WORLD NATIONAL NEWS DAY 17 DECEMBER 2013
One-A-Day or None-A- Day?
That's a newest question regarding taking vitamins. A new report issued on Tuesday, December by a study of doctors in the Annuals of Internal Medicine. Two clinical trials produce some evidence that taking supplements to help preventive cancers were not effective in slowing down or preventing chronic diseases. Nevertheless, the increase in taking multi-vitamins supplements is on the increase regardless of the clinical tests. At least 40% increase in people taking vitamins every day hasn't shown anytime soon that consumers will give up taking the supplements. However, doctors insist that those taking the daily supplements are simply a waste of money and do absolutely nothing to contribute to good health. Some do agree that expected mothers may still take some vitamins that contain folic acid during their term. Otherwise, for those with a healthy diet can benefit by just eating in moderation a good diet and exercise. Americans use of supplements has increased up to 50% since mid 2000. Doctors of the study said the case is really closed, that many Americans do not suffer from vitamin deficiencies as advertising of vitamin sellers insist. Doctors urge to save your money and practice a health kick by diet and healthy lifestyles.
Hey! Some people just want their daily dose of vitamin! It's their money... Q-Q LOOKS likes it's gonna stay ONE-A-DAY for some FOLKS!!
..." However, doctors insist that those taking the daily supplements are simply a waste of money and do absolutely nothing to contribute to good health."...
That confirms for me that doctors don't know best. I guess they'd rather keep handing out free drug samples and prescriptions to patients that cause all kind of side effects.
I feel ya! We have to use the what is called "Mother Wit" sense in many things pertaining to all these medical, physical and even spiritual tips for health and living today. Most of all we have to keep God lifted over every move of directing our lives. That's the best one a day I know and take! A dose of God word is Good everyday!
That's the simple advice offered by board-certified family practitioner David Brownstein, M.D., in the wake of heavily publicized recent studies that concluded a daily multivitamin does not have health benefits.
After carefully reviewing the studies, Dr. Brownstein, one of the nation's top practitioners of holistic medicine, concluded that they aren't worth the paper they're printed on.
