I join the world in mourning the passing of Nelson Mandela.

On a personal level, Nelson Mandela has meant respect for humanity across race lines, religions, political lines, disabilities, etc.

I learned about Mr. Mandela in high school. I have taught middle school students about Mr. Mandela. I hold on to the cause of justice, righteousness, peace, love, kindness, brotherly love for all persons as an advocate.

Mr. Mandela's legacy will forever rest in my heart and I rejoice knowing he is at peace with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ... 'Don't cry for me... (sniff).
