On Saturday--Many EBT shoppers were opting to buy their food with their cards only to discover a computer glitch along with a power outage gave them unlimited purchases of food! The computer failure could not determine the food allotment limit and thereby may chaotic shoppers begin loading groceries that exceeded their card limits. Only worse others came on Monday--They came to shop, the loaded their shopping carts only to leave them full of food and items which they abandoned after the glitch was fix and they couldn't take advantage of hauling of the several carts of groceries as ones did before them. Because some were upset they simply walked away leaving rolls of cart jams in the stores. Although the computer did similar glitches in 17 states, the problem was repaired. Wal-Mart claimed that the people were orderly, and that no riot or violence was displayed, but many were just disappointed they didn't get in on the over limited groceries as some did. The incident was mainly in Wal-Mart stores in Louisiana where carts were left abandoned happened on Monday, October 14, 2013. The day of the power outages was Saturday October 12, 2013 when most of the food takers grabbed the large quantity of foods were at stake. The rampage of carts left by shoppers was possible a little bit of soreness as in sore about not getting in on the mother load. The Department of Agriculture stated that the food stamp debits shut down was caused by the company's computer maintenance and that the experience on both days was not related to the Government shutdown.
That was an altered state Some had to be content with the amount of limit they had. Q-Q
