Starting October 17, 2013 9pm Eastern Standard Time
Blanche Williams

Since 2003, Greatness By Design, LLC, has provided team training, leadership development, and strategic consulting to government agencies, including National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the District of Columbia, in addition to corporations, small businesses, educational institutions and non-profit organizations around the country.

GBD understands that achieving business/organizational greatness is by design, therefore its tools are critical, planning crucial, and people instrumental.

In 2003, her business acumen was complimented when she became one of the first African-American women to host and produce her own live National XM Radio Talk Show in Washington, DC. She has conducted one-on-one conversations with fascinating people including Stephen Covey, Dr. Maya Angelou, Deepak Chopra, Susan Sarandon, and Quincy Jones. She has covered high profile events, including the historical 2008 Democratic Nomination and front row coverage of the Presidential Inauguration of Barack Obama.

Williams' passion for building leadership in our next generation, inspired her to establish the National Black Women’s Town Hall, Inc., in 2008, a non-profit inter-generational think-tank convening meaningful conversations with black women. Its first annual meeting was held at headquarters of NCNW in Washington, DC.

Previous career highlights have included Williams’ work with the Clinton Administration on the historic Western Hemispheric Summit in Miami, Mayoral appointment to Metro-Dade County Community Relations Board, Small Business Incubator Director for the Center for Technology, Enterprise and Development, Inc. (T.E.D. Center), NGO Speaker at United Nations Conference in Istanbul.

Holds Masters in Leadership/Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship and BA in Communication Studies.

Born in San Antonio, TX but attended grade/high school in Memphis, TN. She fell in love with and moved to Miami on her 21st birthday. Her son was born on South Beach.
