I think tough love constitutes different things to different people; however, for me it means if someone treats me awful that means they don't mind me treating them awful. I try not to bother with crabby people at all, but in the line if work I'm in it can't be helped many times. I don't go out of my way with people who act silly. Simple principle.
This is interesting. Self love is another one those phrases that's somewhat ambiguous. What I think is that when directness is called for, then it's an obligation to both the other person and oneself to be direct. The trick (for me anyway) is to control one's anger.

@Jen, yes there are many crabby people who don't show any signs of thinking love. Goes back to your first comments of loveless people. I can see why you wouldn't bother at all, but --just thinking-- often, they certainly expect your loving-kindness to them huh? I think I avoid them many times because of love.

Miisrael, I agree avoidance is sometimes the best course, you know, "if you can't say something nice..." (Lord I must be getting old, dredging up all these old adages.) But oftentimes the undercurrents are worse than just coming out with it. Case in point, a few months ago I got a roommate, he's the age of my second youngest son. Now he does some things that could make me mad, or I can turn it around and say to myself don't get mad (knowing that I have some annoying habits myself) but this is still something he needs to be corrected about. So I don't steam, just give myself time to settle, and then try to say what needs to be said in a non hurtful way.

Sounds like you are in practicing calm and in control. You look at the golden rule, and you examine your own annoying habits before you scold another. I'd think you're showing love and respect. I do this with my son almost every day. He does those little things which drive me bazookas! I react with calmness and speak softly and he admits with apology and even though he'll do it again, there are time periods he really tries to improve. {We're both getting old!}

The Lord never said that our thoughts and ways are God’s thoughts and ways. Isaiah said that am I right. Nevertheless, the gist of that message is for the Jewish people and not fro Black Americans since Prophet Isaiah was not a Black American and we already know that it was the Jewish people that Isaiah came from and that is why prophets are racially different.
Therefore, a prophet of a different race can not lead a people of another race and when you all think it still can be done is a show of how stupid you all are!

I had a most beautiful Friday! Work was favorable and the meeting new faces I shared God's light inside me. The people were very receptive and during the rush hour I performed my duties well.. I didn't get sleepy until after work, which I dosed off after viewing the site.

I think you are looking for attention, and here you are again trying to make a mountain out of molehill.... Was not Isaiah God's prophet? He spoke the words of God. and in this scripture he also wrote "saith the Lord. " You are WRONG again.
As far as running from you. I see no need in that, I have only God to fear in reverence. You have become redundant even to admitted in your own comments : " At the same time I don't doubt or say that Isaiah is wrong. " You sir require much immediate prayer.
Try showing some "Genuine Love..." instead of the distractions against those who want to feel love and wanted by God. A prophet of God must LOVE or he/she will have no avail. I thank God for any influence he has granted in me. As I consider I am a vessel at his disposal. I have not hidden I pray for our brother and as I love him. He is dealing I feel with some envy that I prophecy Jesus Christ and his teachings of faith and unity of nations regardless of racial background. I continue to love Irma. Not making an indifference in any persons, or their practice of faiths/beliefs. I believe in LOVE. I am always learning new things, even as I learn them I have also gained insight to be in limited; but some accountable knowledge of having gained some education of what others do in the practice of BUDDA. I observe a there is somewhat similar of the three as Christianity regarding the Trinity,, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This is general I know, but as I am learning something new-- await patiently with me in as this is a observation in reply. This is because I have not studied the matter before; nor and I unfamiliar of this practice. I will go over it again and read the comment in more detail. Allow me to also absorb the statement to a better understanding. I may ask more about it in the near future. The nature of it has some purpose, as I believe God has given even reason of things to His purpose to use. Very interesting Steve and insightful too!

I did enjoy the work day, and this morning I had a most delightful fun breakfast with four of my sisters and one of my nieces! We had the breakfast buffet and met some people in the restaurant we befriended with laughs and shared life examples! It was splendid. I haven't recovered from it yet. It has made a wonderful memory. In addition, we are renovation our parents home and one of sister is living in the house has decorated it so beautiful. We came home to mom and dad! It was delightful to the MAX!
I will take your advice Jen concerning responding to Harry's question. He is totally out of order regarding to put me under any questioning. After all I've know it only a form of envying and the green eyed monster called jealously. I'm not bothered by it all. I pray and love. Glad you're here it's wonderful you are.
