What would you do? Black Girl violently attacks other students and professor in class #2 (1062 hits)
Another brilliant move. Barack Obama recently passed an executive order that will force public schools to ignore poor behavior by black children.
Obama’s executive order calls on schools to reduce the number disciplinary actions taken against blacks students. The order specifically calls on schools too “not rely on methods that result in disparate use of disciplinary tools.” To comply, public schools would have to engage in a racial quota system of discipline. The executive order will create a new Federal bureaucracy to pressure school systems to comply with the president’s demands. The executive order makes no mention of any effort to get black students to improve behavior.
There is a reason why blacks are more likely to be disciplined in school. Black students are more likely to misbehave. The U.S. Department of Justice’s Bureau of Justice Statistics reports that there is a huge crime rate disparity between blacks and other racial groups.
I think more Black children have poor social skills and lack good communication skills which puts our kids at a disadvantage where they can't convey their feelings and thoughts adequately. Many of our kids react to situations by displaying physical behaviours that are seen as threatening and hostile rather than talking things through.
On another hand, NonBlack teachers and administrators tend to use stereotypes of our children as being prone to violence and overdue the school rules when it comes to our children. The schools have multicultural and diversity training for students and teachers, but it's more talk than action.
Why not pair kids like this child with a school guidance counsellor or psychologist that will allow her to talk about what may be going on in her life or offer social skills to her??? Just thinking out loud... I don't think she should nor any other child a pass to be violent. It's unacceptable.
