With thousands of followers everywhere the Pope's visit to Brazil has been one which will be with record-breaking memories. Brazilians of the faith are exceedingly giving the Pope wide recognition as crowds gather to take a glimpse of him. As of Thursday, July 25, 2013 the Pope visited residents of slums areas where he spoke of social justice to the needy and poor. In a rain soaked crowd of a slum in Varginha the Pope urged official leaders of the city not remain insensitive to the inequalities that persist in the world. As the Pope aimed mission to serve and address the needs of the people he expressed his pilgrimage to Brazil to highlight the poor by the government to become more charitable to the needs of the indigent. With this in mind the Pope addressed also that the poor be never filled with discouragement or to lose trust and hope that situations can change, and that people can change. While in on his visit he received the key to the city and blessed many attendees including potential Olympic athletes and met with many natives of Argentina who celebrated in World Youth Day. Overall, the Pope visits brings positive goodwill and a message that charity is needed most of all.
