MEDITATE SUNDAY: SETTING GOALS OF PRIORITY (366 hits)
BLESSINGS OF LOVE!
When we have several goals, or many tasks often we have need of setting priorities to have them completed. Involved in life situations often things out of order can become where things may totally become overbearing to us and we then have no other excuse but to set a priority.
The need of meditation is also a priority of righteous life. Everything we do in our spiritual connection with God we find little time to meditate on his Word for us. We may meet the songs of praise, we may meet the gathering of worship, we may meet the helping in charities, but our meeting goals of meditation is often omitted. This vital asset is essential to understanding, knowledge, and wisdom of our life's purpose. Meditation is a glory of spiritual guidance and the all so important priority where we identify God's direction. Often lack of meditation on the Lord, can lead to pride and self-admiration. Leaving the most important factor that God is the leader of our own life, the very first priority of our living.
"Seeing thou hatest instruction, and castest my words behind thee.
When thou sawest a thief, then thou consentdst with him, and hast been partakers with adulterers.
Thou giveth thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit.
"Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver."
"Whosoever offereth praise glorifieth me, and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God." Psalm :50: 17-23
Meditation should be a daily part of you goal in a righteous life. Reaching it will be as you understand its importance to spiritual growth. God requires your time of His priority over you.
Let the words of my mouth the meditation of my heart be acceptable in they sight O'Lord my strength and my redeemer. Psalm: 19:14

Absolutely! I find in today's living I need the Lord to be in my life connections. How so important this is to me as well. It is very disturbing to see so many lives are missing God's connection. Simply, many times because our priority has been re-arranged away from God's first and everything else follows. "Seek ye first the kingdom of heaven." Meditation connects a relationship that's missing with many individuals and families today. Thanks for the inspiration JF!

Irma, many time I often know that there is much in pre-destined lives. I say this because there is the cause and effect of it all to bring God glory. No, I'm very sure God has nothing in the cause of anything but good. It is the free-will of men hearts to do evil to another. However being destined in this perception will mean God is so powerful he knows all things whether they be good or bad will bring exaltation to His glorification. Often, I read a scripture which states..."And they shall know I AM GOD." which gives meaning in my understanding that God allows such things to occur for the greater of His glory. The acts we carry out in life always gives us the free-will to make a choice. This is destined, only because God has the power to know before we act in any thing we do. We can create a destiny of good, by our choices, still in this The Almighty is Omnipresent, and all knowing of the things of men hearts. Who then is first priority over all things? We have emotional reactions, and we have a Spiritual God who directs our reactions righteously.
I think I just vented as well.

How then it is important to conduct meditation? We obtain instruction and give glory to the Lord by our actions of keeping His commandments to love and live righteously as possible. Thusly a destiny forms for us; when we are part of God laws of grace over those uncertain laws governed by that of men....
@BRIDE, AS A NDB ONE OF MY TOP PRIORITYS IS TO GET OUT OF THE LOWER 4 WORLDS AS SOON AS I FIND MY SELF IN THEM. (THESE ARE LIKE NEEDING TO HATE, BE ANGRY, CAUSE DDIVISION, ECT.)...AT ANY RATE IT WAS NOT UNTIL A FEW HOURS AGO IT HIT ME FULLY AS TO WHY WAS I SO UPSET WITH ZIMMERMAN DAYING ON HANNITY, "IT WAS OGD'S WILL HE KILLED TM"?...
HO W MANY TIMES HAVE I SAID THESE WORDS AS A PRACTICING CATHOLIC TO TRY AND FIND LESS FEAR OF THE UNKNOWN, THINGS I COULD NOT FULLY UNDERSTAND, ECT.?!? (SMILE)
TODAY, "I" DEFINE THIS AS CAUSE AND EFFECT AND I NO LONGER DENY I AM THE ONE RESPONSIBLE FOR MY OWN BEHAVIORS...BUT BEING HUMAN, I HAVE NO WAY TO PREDICT HOW I WOULD ACT AS EITHER TM OR GZ AS I HAVE NEVER BEEN IN THAT EXACT BEHAVOIR SO I MUST RESPECT THE FIRST LAW OF NATURE IS TO SURVIVE AN HOLD MY OWNSELF NOT GOD RESPONSIBLE FOR MY PERSONAL NEEDS BING MET FIRST...BUT AGAIN I HAVE HAD MUCH MORE LIFE EXPERIENCES THEN THESE TWO HAVE HAD SO HERE COMES OUR LAWS OF TH ELAND THAT MUST BE EQUAL ACROSS THE BOARD...
