Electronic devices stimulate brain activity, they say, disrupting your ability to drift off to sleep. But according to the National Sleep Foundation, more than 90 percent of Americans regularly use a computer or electronic device of some kind in the hour before bed.

My son wants to watch movies on the I-Pad, but the most I let him watch is 20 minutes to half hour after a shower and the light is dimly lit on it so its alright.
That gets him right off to sleep, but most times it's a story we read to whine down. He looks forward to that and although I sometimes want to forego the bedtime reading, I forge on and end up being glad I did!
