ADD TO THE SPLASH OF JUNE BLOOMS!
DEAR GARDENERS June 2013 Dear Gardeners:
You know it's not officially a calendar Summer until June 21st. So if you read this before then or even after there's also time for sprucing up your garden items with paint and color. Those old lawn chairs and that table, or that summer porch could be just like mine. Crying for a coat! That's of course a coat of paint.
This year I've chosen to red and black my furniture. I'll be painting my summer's furniture in a nice bright red and accenting with black and white pots to give them compliments to my white picket fence, which is also yelling at me for a coat of paint as well. Now, I have to go and get the paints and just start spreading that color. This year is different indeed. I have been totally a lazy mazy! So while taking a week's off from vacation I'll probably be away from writing on the internet as much.
Paints can be costly, but since I'm not so perm on staying in the color scheme for a long time, I'll go as cheap as i can. As bit of color is a fresh look just waiting! It's up to you if you have in your budget to hire a painter, but shop around and ask for references too. I even suggest you are always present when the painter is. It's just because you want to make sure the job is done well.
My goodness, if I can just get that son of mine to keep the lawn mowed. Afterall, all the shopping time we spent a year ago to buy a new mower...or was that two years ago? Anyway, I forgot all it until I noticed he's not keeping up with the grass! So off to the paint store! Just so you know, there are many potted blooming plants that come in colors of red and white, and that will be part of the decor as well. You can also make your own summer sitting places spark bright with color, use your favorite color if you want! Just imagine it and then make it happen. Blooming plants are just perfect for matching with paints. Well, this is all for this time so have a great month of June and I'll see you in another article when it's hot July! We'll make some sun tea! That can be arranged right now! Over ice please...Cheers!
