How the Oklahoma Tragedy Can Strengthen "You" (673 hits)

It's so easy to be depressed, saddened, and fearful watching disaster images of the Oklahoma tornadoes that have left residents without their loved ones and so many homeless. 
 
 
However, it's a spiritual opportunity to strengthen your faith. 
 
 
You can feel sorry for them and yourself, or you can have compassion and do what you can to help them. 
 
 
Compassion and pity are two different things. One keeps you wallowing in darkness. The other brings light to the situation. You know, which is which.  
 
 
They don't need more darkness. They need us to lift them up. They need your love and support. 
 
 
You can't give that to them and others in your life if you are down in the dumps.
