The George Washington University School of Nursing seeks applications for five (5) faculty positions in the undergraduate and graduate nursing programs to join our growing, energetic and creative faculty in our fully-accredited nursing programs. All faculty positions are 12-month positions, with rank, salary, and employment in either a tenure or non-tenure track faculty positions commensurate with experience.

The George Washington University School of Nursing (SON) develops nursing leaders who are actively engaged in health promotion, patient advocacy, and health care innovation. By providing students with a high level of nursing expertise and enhancement of professional leadership skills, graduates of GW’s SON are prepared to make a difference in the world.
The programs — which include the Masters of Science in Nursing, the Second Degree Bachelor’s in Nursing (B.S.N.), and the Doctor of Nursing Practice (D.N.P.), and multiple Post-Masters certificates — stress the integration of research and nursing practice with a strong emphasis on solving “real-world” problems that promote strong leadership skills in graduates.
SON programs are offered both online and on-campus at two locations in the heart of the nation’s capital. With the White House, the World Bank, and various other national and international governmental and nongovernmental organizations only steps away, students at SON’s Foggy Bottom campus are immersed in current happenings in health care policy and activism. Students at the Virginia Science and Technology Campus in Loudoun, Va., have access to a new, state-of-the-art, 3,000 square foot simulation center.
