TRUE LIFE SITUATIONS: GUNS DON'T SHOOT PEOPLE (1186 hits)
You know I'm probably a lot like you. I see violence acted out with guns. Killing, shootings, drive by, robberies and senseless murders. If you haven't notice tougher gun laws are being stressed by our very own government to keep guns from falling in the hands of criminals and the mentally challenged persons. Then, only a few days ago I heard a story of a deputy sheriff who was showing off his guns at a family barbeque when his toddler picked up a loaded gun and shot his mother in a freak gun accident. I recall the saying of "He who lives by the sword, also perish by the sword." Guns don't shoot people. The sword is by our own hands. People shoot people and more and more we see it in every society. I do. I agree, that there's a need and want for tougher laws for guns purchases, and I believe in the rights to bare arms. I also believe in the right to practice safety; and more so the right that people should find some other method than grabbing a gun when something is not exactly all so glowing in life. The best alternative is LOVE. But, we don't really hear enough about that do we? It's a true life situation guns do not fire and shoot unless they are in some body's hand. Tougher laws may help, but I firmly am believer softening the heart and being obedient in respect of life; with stiffer laws to love will surely save a lot of lives. Thanks for hearing me.
Thank you Dearest Irma, I guess every time I turn on the news, pick up a news page I see it all so senseless. I'm feeling somewhat melodramatic-- It may be triggered by the weather, but like you said we are responsible for our own behaviors. Change the heart to love.
Guns do shoot people in the hands of the wrong people. Fro instance, the toddler that shot his mother because the gun the toddler used was in the wrong hands.
The government is trying to keep guns out of the hands of the wrong people. You don’t really understand what is going on. Guns do shoot people. People don’t shoot people, guns shoot people.

You took the position that it is people that shoots people, but not rally. It is guns that shoots people in the wrong hands. Since the gun was in the wrong hands it went off am I right.

Okay, you say your blog is about the sword. I whoe-heartedly thought your blog was about guns and your position was a tricky one. You are trying to be cute by saying guns don’t shoot people it is people that shoots people.
I say that you are wrong. Guns do shoot people even when the guns are in the right or wrong hands. Again, guns shoot.
Now that you see I am right you want to say your blog is about the sword, I am not going to argue with you have it your way.
Harry, if a gun isn't in a person's hand is it going to shoot someone? Maybe an old gun if it's dropped, but any modern gun will go off only if a person pulls the trigger.

Sword of Damocles
The Damocles of the anecdote was an obsequious courtier in the court of Dionysius II of Syracuse, a 4th century BC tyrant of Syracuse, Italy. I've had a couple of close calls. Once when my eldest was at a friend's house and his little brother was sitting in a rocking chair with a shotgun that had been left loaded by his father. As he rocked back the gun went off and just barely missed shooting my son in the head.
The gun shouldn't have been loaded number one, and the kids shouldn't have been unsupervised with a loaded gun in the house number two.
The other time was when I took this same son and his friend (this was years earlier) out hunting. In spite of my gun safety training, and I'm very strict about it, the friend was walking and had the safety off the shotgun, contrary to my training. He tripped and the gun went off. Fortunately he followed the rule about keeping it pointed at the ground and no one was hurt.
And these incidents involved no military style assault weapons.

Then there was the vaseline incident. When my grandson was a baby his half-sister (the young lady in the photos I posted) decided it was a good idea to fill his nostrils with vaseline. Fortunately my ex was there to prevent him suffocating.

Guns are dangerous, no doubt. But what to do about them? I no longer hunt, and even though there was a murder just a block or two away from me, I don't even keep a gun within reach. I remember another incident when I was deer hunting (never shot a deer BTW). The deer came between met and some other hunters and some fool shot at them, towards me, even though it wasn't yet light enough to see if there was a buck and it was before legal shooting time. This was in PA. Well he ended up shooting a doe which was also illegal. And the main reason I gave up deer hunting was because I felt like I was almost in as much danger as the deer.

What I said is exactly what you are saying, but I said it first.
Explanation: If you read the words in my blog from the beginning you will discover the purpose of it. 1.To deter uses of guns, to reveal government laws may help but not prevent guns from getting in the wrong hands, 2. to show how guns kill and 3. to encourage change in a person's mind, and hearts that are confused, mentally challenged or with malice, hate or revenge to never use guns/or any weapons to take life of another person. 4.Guns do NOT shoot people all by themselves.
That was the entire message of the blog.
@ Harry: Here is a line from the blog you may have overlooked it reads:

This clarifies the entire message. I think you totally misunderstood the blog altogether at the beginning as I stated before. Yet, it's all written there. Guns shoot, but .."Guns don't shoot people" by themselves, it is people who shoot guns.
@ Steve and Irma again thank you for understanding my message. I don't believe it ever was confusing, but some times ways of thinking are diverse.
FYI: I can never control a person way of thinking, or how they view; or perceive a subject matter. This, I believe has to begin with each individual. Everyone doesn't learn the same way, and some may take longer to get an understanding. In it all a person must be willing to understand the Word if they show willingness to cooperate to; listen, read, hear then obey. Then they can make his, or her own decision to follow-- by knowing if a message is true-- then accepting it, or they have a free will deny a message with any discretion from what they have been taught to understand. Again, I stress many do not understand a true message and turn against it because of personal reason and thinking, hard heart-hardiness, and even prejudices. Choices will be for each person to decide. Love is a vital key to the respect of life; and obediently to God one must love Him--and must love others.
You have clarified your blog message that guns in the wrong hands to shoot me.
What I am after is your ability to analytically reason. After putting you on the defensive you came back and analytically clarified your message, but when it comes to embracing the Jewish Jesus and you are not a Jewish woman you throw out the window analytical reason to have the Jewish Jesus am I right.
The highest level of reasoning is spiritual or Godly reasoning. I have reasoned with to show you that you can not have the Jewish Jesus because he did not come to you and you are not a Jewish woman. Yet, you are going to tell me that you are a prophet and the bride of the Jewish Jesus and you refuse to see how stupid and irrational you are.
You need to fix your thoughts that you belong with the Jewish Jesus because you can’t belong to him you are not a Jewish woman.
That is not true.... And you know it. Jesus was Jewish, it is true he was; and he displayed love to all races of men who loved and or; hated Him. Continue your way Harry, you will not have a battlefield with me. The victory is overcome and. . . .It is finished.
My point Ms. Bride is that since Jesus was a Jewish man and you are not a Jewish woman spiritually it is easy to see and understand that Jesus did not come to Black Americans and especially to you because you are not a Jewish woman.
My point has nothing to do with whether the Jewish Jesus displayed love for all people. But since we are on who Jesus loved I’ll tell who Jesus loved unconditionally. Jesus loved his Jewish people unconditionally and more than any other people. He died for his Jewish people. It was the Jewish people that produced him.
Everything about Jesus was for the Jewish people. Black Americans don’t have anything to do with the Jewish people.
Like the Jewish people we Black Americans have our own prophet and religion. Our prophet is Harry and our religion is LIFE and our religion is still yet to be developed.
So, stick to the point. The point is that since Jesus and Black Americans are racially different we can not spiritually draw from the Jews and the Jews can not spiritually draw from us Black Americans. What God gave to the Jews is strictly for the Jews and what God is giving us now is strictly for us Black American. Do you understand?
This point has nothing to do whether Jesus loved every body because I love every body but I am belong to and came to the Black American race. Why it is like I’ve been say you can’t understand that you can’t have Jesus because he was Jewish and he did not come to you Ms. Bride?
You seen to think that you and I are not the same people. We are the same people. Since I am Black America’s first genuine prophet just like Abraham was the Jewish people’s first prophet I am your prophet as Jesus was the prophet of the Jewish people.
Since you are not going to give me a battle then do you realize that the Jewish Jesus is nothing to you?

I think it should be you who would learn to love and respect your self because it is you that is changing when you are encouraging others to delete me. I have not change. I am the same person you met 3 years ago when thought you were smarter than I was to run that stupid Nevada garbage on me as a replacement for our genuine sovereignty.
