CNN Newsroom| April 2, 2013 Mike Bowers, Former Georgia Attorney General, talks about the charges 35 teachers and administrators could face.Well, I'm been surfing this site to see if anyone blogged about this Altanta Test Cheating Scandal. I couldn't wait any longer for anyone else to blog it so here it is especially since I'm really passionate about Education. I'm sadded to see Education become about scores.
To be totally HONEST... I'm not surprised that this scandal occured and this is just the first of many who have gotten caught. What about the others? Schools that have good scores that are cheating to get even better scores?
I know when I was taking a standardized test, one of my teachers who knew that I was a good student, pointed out the correct answer to me while she was walking around monitoring for cheating. I was taking the test for goodness sake! I think the 'No Child Left Behind' has paved the way for travesty of justice linking scores with financial rewards and monetary gains. I am really sadden that this is what the Educational System has come to... TEST SCORES. What do ya'll think?
