Right-wing media are attacking First Lady Michelle Obama for accepting the Academy's invitation to present an award at the Oscars.
One commentator even called the First Lady's appearance "obscene," ignoring the fact that former presidents and former First Lady Laura Bush have participated in the ceremony.
These attacks are ludicrous.
