Men who abuse members of their family also tend to blame other people,everything they do and say is all a lie a cover up.They will not take responsibility for their own actions and if another man confronts the abuser he becomes confrontational and take all or most of his anger out on that man because the cat is out the bag and the abuser is exposed !
You read story's about how everything is fine at home and all is good,soon as you go on line the abuser strikes out trying to hurt anyone in range of his words this is called Digital Abuse.
Digital Abuse,someone tells you who you can or can’t be friends with on Facebook and other sites. Someone who is always at odds over the smallest thing,and wants to pick fights but writes about how good it is at home with the family all lies if you talk to any woman who writes online, the chances are she will instantly be able to reel off a greatest hits of insults. But it's very rarely spoken about, for both sound and unsound reasons. No one likes to look like a whiner -- particularly a woman writing in male-dominated fields such as politics, economics or computer games. Others are reluctant to give trolls the "satisfaction" of knowing they're emotionally affected by the abuse or are afraid of incurring more by speaking out.
When a woman speaks out about disrespect or abuse the abuser will try all kinds of scandalous attacks from charming his way into her life to bad mouthing her or out right defaming her through s*xual lies and slander ,remember she is EXPOSING the abuser !
Other signs are the abuser will not allow another man to challenge him openly about his disrespect for woman ,,the abuser will go on a witch hunt to cause havoc he will do all he can to defame the man that is protecting the woman ,the abuser will create all kinds of lies and insults about the man who takes a stance on woman being abused on line !
Most experts say there is no one profile of men who batter or beat women. Domestic violence crosses all social and economic boundaries. According to Dr. Susan Hanks, Director of the Family and Violence Institute in Alameda, California, men batter because of internal psychological struggles. Usually, men who batter are seeking a sense of power and control over their partners or their own lives, or because they are tremendously dependent on the woman and are threatened by any moves on her part toward independence. Some men batter because that's the only way they know how to be close to or relate to a partner. Some men grew up in violent households, where they watched their mothers abused by their fathers and where they themselves were abused. Some men become violent under the influence of drugs or alcohol, although the substances themselves do not cause the violence ! LADIES TAKE A STAND SPEAK OUT LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD !!

Traditionally, men have been the ones who influence the direction of society: I think there is still a sense that it's not women's place to be involved in politics. That's why the abuse women writers experience is really pernicious and needs to stop. Women will never achieve equality so long as they're being intimidated out of the picture.
Gendered abuse should be seen as a form of hate speech, because that's what it is. Website owners should remember that misogynistic comments do cause harm and should not be tolerated. If women writers complain to the police of threats, they should be taken seriously. At the moment, there is too much complacency around the issue and women are afraid to speak out. It's a situation that shames us all and it's time to say "enough is enough".
