More than 1.1 million people in Britian have succumbed to the norovirus virus. This according to British health officials. The Britian's Health Protection Agency said that cases of the winter vomiting disease is expected to even soar thru January. The norovirus is highly contagious and showed up earlier than health officials expected. The nasty bug has travelved across Europe and Japan and in other parts of the world.
The virus has little boundries health offficials in the U.S. said the virus made its way to infect two cruise ships causing at least 400 people to be at its gripping ails. The sickness is suspected to be caused by the norovirus. In addition overseas hospitals in Europe were forced to close in an aid to stop the spreading of the infectious giant.
The laboratory studies released from Britian's health officials on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 showed there have been 3,877 cases which confirmed that as being the norovirus. The estimated of 288 cases a day may go unreported giving the cases spread to 1.1. million. The norovirus is up 7.2% increase compared to last year.
Symptoms of the norovirus involve: Sudden vomiting including projectile vomiting, diarrehea and fever.
Use preventive measures: The virus is highly contagious. Wash hands frequently, if infected.. stay home to prevent spreading, seek medical attention if conditons worsens.
