There will be a rate increase of about 1.7 percent which is equated an average benefit of $1,240 will rise to twenty-one dollars more each month. The same percentage will apply to pensions and federal government retirees. This increase is less than half of the 3.6 percent which was boosted in 2012. In 2011 there was no increase at all. Steve I'm not sure if the web address I have works, but the source said it's
socialsecurity.gov/mystatement
You can give it a try with just using it without mystatement attached. I haven't tested the website.
Yeah, take time and check it out.
