TO HIS EVERY DAY JOB AS A MARINE IN PERSONAL AT KANEHOI BAY HAWAII MARINE CORPS BASE...THE VERY NEXT DAY I BEGAN GOING TO LIBRARYS AND BOOK STORES GETTING EVERY THING I COULD TO LEARN ABOUT THIS COUNTRY. I WAS ONLY 21 AND HAD NO IDEA THAT MY HUSBND HAD BEE NSENT THERE AS A DIRECT RESULT OT THE DEATHOF JFK INTO A COUNTRY THAT HAD JUST FINISHED FIGHTING A 35 YEAR LONG WAR WITH FRANCE...FIGHTING FOR SOMETHING CALLED 'FREEDOM"...THESE PEOPLE ENDED UP WITH BEING CALLED COMMUNIST AND THEIR NATION SPRAYED WITH AGENT ORANGE AND NO WAY TO GROW RICE, THEIR STAPLE FOODS AND A NATION FULL OF (SOME ORPEHNED, SOME LATER SENT TO AMERICA)BLACK CHILDREN THEY HAD NO IDEA HOW TO FIT THEM INTO THEIR SOCIETY...
IT I SJUST SUCH A SHAME HOW WE CAN BE SO MISLED BY THE SMALL STUFF UNTIL WE MISS TOTALLY THE BIG PICTURE, example...this is just one moRe country taht we neglect to consider is full of human beings especiallY these innocent children we have never even heard of and if we did...would we care?????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

I just finished watching the press conference. I think my favorite part came at the very end when the President, all smiles and good nature, listened, then said it was a very good question but would be a horrible precedent to answer a question just because it was shouted out.
The press let us down though. The question on climate change. The President said we cannot tie any specific event to carbon emissions, but the sea level is rising, polar cap melting, and he believed part of it was human impact. I agree. Then he brought up the specter of all these extreme weather conditions we are having. No problem there either. But he didn't have to go any further because THE QUESTION WAS NOT ASKED: Is the government modifying the climate? So as we all know, it is not politic to offer information not asked for. No problem there either. But had the question been asked, we would have had an answer, wouldn't we have?

Steve these two are very responsive it is funny when people who want someting done if they just make and effort it is easier to get it done then to complain about it...me I like things done in tis lazy way.lol
Plus steve I was just thinking about something nice about the marines...they get a month's vacation a year and you can not take it one year to build on your time off...then use something they call stand by o plains to fly any place on teh planet you want to go...the stand by means you put in where you want to travel and when they call you must be ready to move. (smile)
plus if you go in at 18,19 you get to retore in 20 years...have a second career...go to college while in the military as many bases have college extention class ritht on your base...

Was this the first speech goiven by our president that youhave watched the whole thing and do you belieeve any questions were asked of him that he seem he was not prepared to answer completley or di he brreakinto an emotional out burst to avoid answering them?
And, if you ae ot aware of the press talking to our president then pay colse attention the next time and when the questionis asked ask your self would not this make a great sound bite later. Becaue Steve this is all this is about.
by modifing the climite do you mean lie they are now making snow in th emountians here to get more skiers or are they causing tings like hurricane sandy and making sure the hurricane goes to the states the y have picked out fo the hurricane to go and if this is true then why all of there droughts and why , to these to raise the prices of foods or to make farmers more dependant on big government? ? I hope taht these reporters were not abused in taht the public at large were told how long the press conference would last and o one told them ho tv time allotments work...commuricals and all, th epublic's attention spans, ect....
