YOUR NATIONAL NEWS: SEPTEMBER 2012 11th Day
Memorial rememberances will be celebrated and memories of a day which brought the United States at it's grip 11 years ago. The day will have services offered in New York City, Pennsylvania, and Washington. In New York names of family members will be read aloud, and President Obama and Vice President Biden will also make appearances in memorial ceremonies and speeches. Along with thousands of city and state memorials across the country. Firefighters will also participate in memorial celebrations and survival services.
It was 11 years ago as terrorists attacks lunged 2 planes into the World Trade Center, and crashed planes in two other locations in the United States. News of the tragic event sparked President Bush to set aim to capture Bin-Laden which finally resulted in his capture and death in 2011. Many families will also conduct private memorials for those who are heroes, and with stories of lost love ones.
NEW YORK 911 MUSEUM MET DELAYS:
The National Museum to honor the 911 day did not open as expected because of set backs in funding. Musuem officials said that the opening had set backs from it's original date for opening on this year's anniversary. Recent delays were slowed in construction, however news reports stated that the musuem has now been resumed for it's completion. The musuem will house artifacts from the two towers and also personal belongings of those of heroes and firefighters as well as personal articles from family and ones loss in the attack.
