2012 OLYMPIC MEDAL COUNT ADDING UP THE GOLDS
Gold, Silver, and Bronze . .
It’s adding and counting up that China has the Midas touch as of August 07, 2012 leading it’s team with 34 Gold and a total of 73 medals in all. It’s not surprising that the U.S. follows with a very close second place of 30 Gold and 70 medals to give them a very close competition. Following a safe third place it’s the country’s host Great Brittan with 22 Gold and 48 medals. Russia is in 4th place 10 Gold and 48 medals in all and followed by the last of the top 5 Japan with 2 Gold and 29 medals.
It’s an exciting time as the medal count keeps it going. Recent likes of U.S. Gabby Douglas has spiked media attention as she made history of scoring her gold medals with her magnificent gymnast performances. Many are watching the count click on the scoreboard.

Little Shoppe of Disappointments…
With the tremendous large crowd in London town, shoppers and site-seekers are not making the cash registers ring gold. Shopping in London has been very disappointing to store and shop keepers. Everyone is at the games, and when they're not --it appears they aren’t shopping and spending money. This has been quite a strain on London’s business community as the shopping tourists isn’t spending very much as expected. Local shop keepers had hoped that the lure of games would also bring in the counting of the pounds and find that it’s just the reverse. Sales are like in the nursery rhyme song…London’s Bridge is falling when it comes to getting inside the purse it’s take the key and lock it up. “My fair lady…”
