"Whoever Drinks Of The Water That

I Shall Give Him Will Never Thirst.

But .... Will Become In Him A Fountain
Of Water Springing Up Into Everlasting

At A Remote Road Stop In The Desert

Stood A Deserted Gasoline Station.

Alongside Was A Well With An Old-Fashioned

Pump.

A Traveler, Dying Of Thirst, Stumbled Into The

Outpost.

He Ran To The Well, And There He Saw A Cup

Filled With Water!

But Under The Cup Was A Note.



Dear Traveler:

There's Loads Of Water Deep Down In This Well.

Use This Cup To Prime The Pump. Then Drink

All You Want From The Bottom Of The Well.

When You've Had All You Want, Fill The Cup Again

For The Next Person Who Comes Thirsting Down

The Road.



Whenever You Do, Don't Drink From This Cup

Or There'll Be No Water To Prime The Pump -

Ever Again.



The Thirsty Traveler Read The Notes And Looked

At The Cup Of Water.

Unable To Heed The Warning, He Brought The Cup
To His Lips.

Then He Hesitated For A Moment, And, In A Sublime

Act Of Faith, Followed The Instructions.

He Poured The Water Down The Dry Pump, Worked

The Handle As Fast As He Could, And Suddenly Out

Of The Mouth Of The Pump Poured Forth Cold Water

From The Depths.



Delighted, He Drank.

When He'd Had All He Could Enjoy, He Filled The Cup

And Left It On The Well With The Note.



We Prime The Pump When We Spend Our Last Ounce Of

Energy On The Hope That Our Energy Will Be Renewed.

Because Someone, Somewhere Helped You Get Started,

Pray That Your Success Will Help Someone Else Down The

Road Of Faith.

Never Run Dry!
