It has really gotten on my every nerve to know that black folks do not know how to keep his or her body clean in times when one has no water resource. Or I must say' the water has been shut off temporarily.
Things one can do to become discreet, unnoticeable, and when you do not want your friends, family, and others to know what up! until you yourself resolve one's very own resource issue.
To do: Fill up buckets with lids, jugs with tops, water bottles with caps at a nearby, local, or couple blocks down from where one resides gas station or fuel station. One can also take those items in a cart, car, bicycle with basket to the gas station. One can also take these items to a local restaurant, but first purchase a soda, or small item at restaurant, always being discreet , then take one's items to the restaurant bathroom and fill up utensils. Next take these filled up water containers home and use the water sparingly. Again, another way is to ask at one's local church, regardless if one attends church there or not. Or ask at a local shelter for men, and a shelter for families.
Bottom line is always keep your body clean or bathe, even as one comes into a situation that cannot be accounted for at a specific time. Don't be ashamed be mindful that one must still count it JOY and give Thanks regardless of what situation one may find himself or herself in. Be blessed and do not be ashamed to do so in these economic times that a world of persons are finding themselves in.
