"I" often wonder if riots are not really mini-civil wars. example, Today Don Lemon ("I" hope innocently) (707 hits)
distorted American history by saying how pre:cell phones, 24 hr. cable news, social networks the Ca. court's finding the beating of Rodney Kings as not criminal was the first riot of this magnitude in America...This is false, because the murder of Dr. King, sparked so many major riots all over America until many business all over of American were shut down. (smile)
But, just over look me, because "I" see the civil rights movement as a mini-civil war...the movement was against our federal government's refusal to enforce civil rights, right like the Americn revolution, the French Revolution? LOL!!! (smile)
you and i were in california 1992 and America 1968
i also believe both occurrances were parts of American civil wars...................
wars are fighting
civil is:
Of, relating to, or befitting a citizen or citizens: Of or relating to citizens and their interrelations with one another or with the state: Of or in accordance with organized society; civilized. Sufficiently observing or befitting accepted social usages Being in accordance with or denoting legally recognized divisions of time:
i was not LA, but the city i lived in was getting ready for major disturbances --
i was not in Memphis, but the city i lived in DID get involved in civil fighting
BUT
both of these civil wars, were NOT my wars
in 1968-1992 I was NOT a participant in the American Racialistic Racist civil Division
I was participating in the Family of Adaam(as) to Unite
boycotts, riots always get's the job done in short order...
