Great and or small pain can come in various ways. There is pain of the physical body, pain of coping with life situations, pain of loss, pain of love and being rejected and even pains which follow with depression. There may be a pain only that individual can describe or understand and also a temporary pain. How so much the meditation of the Word is needed in all kinds of pain.
In seeking to eliminate pain often many today take medications to make them feel better. Often medications help in many cases-- however, sometimes it only increasing a person to becoming one's crutch as to "form of medicated dependency." Such then is when pain has become more complicated, and involves deeper pain finally adding an "addition to prescription drugs."
In "meditation" ones pain is dealt in the mind and spirit which is much more capable of dealing with most kinds of pain. For the "believing mind" is guided by meditation upon following the commandments of God and allowing the Holy Spirit’s inner healing of your total body. Mind, Spirit, Soul and Body can be healed. The person must accept that the healing of themselves is possible-- eliminating all doubts of their cure from the pain. Following the spiritual guidance in meditation allow the Lord to be your Divine guidance so that you will be His "capable vessel " subjected to an holy healing. This requires a very willing subject, and one must totally submissive to the Holy Spirit. Miraculous healing is never impossible; for many have believed and have been healed of their pain.
Now, in certain situations as noted medications may be necessary along with following directions of a physicians care. However, even then meditation is a continual involvement in a healing process. It is recommended that all medications along with meditation be given the direction in the surrendering all under the Lord of Heaven. Complete dedication and prayer and supplication must be kept. Lacking in faith can falter a healing of pain. Give total thoughts in that God can cure you of whatever pain which ails you, seek His advice in meditation and you will be able to hear the curing voice of the Lord. Obedience to the Lord is never without reward! Then when you are true, and trust in the meditation the Lord Jesus Christ, He is the deliverer has overcome every kind of pain known in you.
“Pray without ceasing.” [1 Thess. 5:17]
“Now she that is a widow indeed, and desolate, trusteth in God, and continueth in supplications and prayers night and day. [[1 Timothy 5:5]
“Thou has heard my voice; hide not thine ear at my breathing at my cry.” [Lamentations: 3:56]
“Thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name’s sake lead me, and guide me.” [Psalm: 31:3]
Allow meditation give you strength in all painful trials and tribulations of your body and of your surroundings. Inside or out be comforted knowing God is able to do anything. For peace is known from Him. Give your complete devotion to following His Word and in love keep his law not going astray. Your healing cycle begins.
“Let the words of my mouth the meditation of my heart be acceptable in thy sight, O’ Lord my strength and my redeemer.” [Psalm 19:14]

Good post Bride! Many people think of pain as being as cause. Pain is never a cause, only and always a sensor, a reaction. To eradicate pain one must go to the root source. One must know how to excavate: GO DEEP!
In pain is a deep and profound lesson if we would only listen to the voice of Allah (God). The human body speaks via metaphor. it is up to us to listen!

Michael Daniel
Gladly will I give an explanation... @Michael Daniel, thank you for bringing up this scripture of Word. For those able to understand this has to do with examining yourself as for taking the Lord's supper unworthly.
This thereby, one has not lived by having the clean heart, following and keeping God's commandments, and being held guilty of taking the body and blood of Jesus Christ knowing that inside the heart one has not repented, or confessed sin with a contrite heart. Taking up the body and blood which must allow a worthy taking not conformed as the ways the world would do, but by the Spirit of the Lord.
In doing so, may make judgment of themselves and are condemming to their own judgement, because they take the supper knowing they have not examined their spiritual life; or following laws of the commandments--for this cause follows sickness, and also suffering or dying in illinessness. Taking up the body and blood of Christ keeps will keep the the whole body, spirit, soul, mind in good health because you have believed on the cross and is one in with the body and blood of Christ. Doing so in rememberance; partaking of the Life of Christ whom by the Holy Spirit confesses all things
Few practice taking the Lord's Supper daily, & or even the on first day of the week and often congregations also fail to follow this manner of proclaiming the Lord's death. Cautious for those who take the Lord's Supper usually have not looked at their mannerism in following Christ and are condemmed by way of unworthiness and guilty of judging their own health and death. This may result in one lacking long years of healthy living and magnifying the Spirit which heals the inner and outer man. In the new man has become a new creature within whereby the eternal spiritual soul and body which edifies God's Son.

MIISRAEL Bride
"For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do show the Lord's death till he come. Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord." But let a man examine himself, and let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.
"Here's the very verse of healing highlight:"
"For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep."
[1 Corinthians: 11: 26-30]
