SUDAN AND SOUTH SUDAN URGED FOR TALKS OF PEACE (347 hits)

Leaders in Sudan and South Sudan have informed Moscow of its readiness to talk and start negotiations for peace. Russian Prime minister Sergie Larvov said that both need to settle their conflict and work immediately in resolving peace. Karti's visiting in Moscow has caused some aggravations on the borders of Sudan and South Sudan regarding efforts at preventing military confrontation. Moscow wants both sides to act with international laws in compliance of all requirements including those of the United Nations. In a report Larvov stated "Our position on this resolution is that it should really reflect what each of the sides does, or does not do." South Sudan won independence in 2011 after a referendum that came after decades of civil war. However, some fighting is still engaged in disputed territories along the border with Sudan. Thousands are feared dead in recent tribal clashes in the country.
