Thats due in fact to not understanding how men think or having very little information about men. I remember I had this girlfriend ,everytime I went into the bathroom to shave, she would come and stand right in the door and watch me. Here in Washington DC , the Washington Post newspaper has a slogan " If you don't get it, you don't get it". I am just not sure that you can put all men into one category. I know several men who are not as complex as society would have us think. They are clear communicators with no hidden agendas. I think if you have a firm understanding of who you are as an individual, there is no secret recipe required for being in a successful relationship. The challenges come when the messages aren't clear and the woman is not sure of what the relationships is. Additionally, her role in the relationships is not clearly confirmed.
The ever increasing number of single parent homes , speaks loudly of the problem more than any word could. Of course , media hypes up the issues in the Black Community. But lets not over look who is really feeling the effects - Our Children
