no, colbert should not even be mentioned in the same sentence with HISTORY.
or sisters, or you and jenFad.....................
you ARE doing the WRITING, do not make gossippy, false innuendo the History of africa/europe, and do not CLAIM to know historical relevance, all AMERICANS should recognize that before 1492 there WAS AFRICA, and AFRICA had a way of LIFE that was NOT slaverAmericana 'black'; not paganChristian-----THAT IS A FACT
so with BIA I give you the way of Life that OUR ancestors had, SUCCESSFULLY.....
and that was ALISLAAM, the OPPOSITE of paganEuropean Chrisitianity----that is who we need to look for, for OUR history, OUR success, and OUR way of LIFE>.........
REALITY, has put IN OUR FACE, a son of Africa---FOR CHANGE----President Baraka Hussein Obama..............
live it, educate it, use it as medicine.................
That is something I wished to broach Robert. Hopefully I will not be thought disrespectful of history if I ask, is Black History month a good thing or a bad thing, or both?

And on the subject of History we can take a lesson from The History of Christianity. We would have an IMMENSELY clearer knowledge of the emergence of Christianity if not for the suppression of FACTS and IDEAS by those who seized power over it.

there is History...........................
no such thing as blackHistory---to me
were the africans of the south in 1964, citizens?
were they africanAmericans?
the negros couldnt vote, they were nothing, YET today they want to tell the paganChristian, Oh we did things?
alexHaleys, ROOTS is History......................
slaverAmericana is History.....................
steve, at least 80% of slaveWomen were raped and bore children, that is why I think all of US, dark, yellow, blue eyed, brown eyed, siebra or bush are the same people....
the same History.......the same Facts, just not synthesized properly........
what has happened to the african in AMERICA 1492-NOW is HISTORY --- FOR ALL
it effected us all, those filthy, infected slugMen?----on those slave ships, those massas raping the negraGirls and BOYs is HISTORY, AFFECTS us today and it happen long time ago, THATS HISTORY irma, not YOU and I...
So if History were taught properly in the first place, we wouldn't need to Separate black history from the rest.

I HOPE THAT YOU WILL ALWAYS SPEAK THE TRUTH BOLDLY, SAYING WHAT NEEDS TO BE SAID NO MATTER WHOM YOUR'RE ADDRESSING. wHEN IT COMES TO CHAMPIONING A JUST CAUSE, YOU MUST NEVER BE COWARDLY, NEVER FAWN, NEVER TRY TO CURRY FAVORS.
But, we must also accpet robert's rights to believe it to be true that all of us do not need to have / must not be granted the same rights as he does. (smile)

@Steve, what you just said is one of the main problems in trying to teach, learn above and beyond subjective levels. example. we see the world through the eyes of our culture...like different as in unique should be used rather then 'different'...
Have their own versions of from how they won the war to how they perserve their foods...their language to how they dress...the use of the family name, because names can lead back to where the original family came from down to the village/ town/ city/ nation, ect.
Therefore it is more about passing on their culture as culture like all other things must change if it wants to survive and yet must reamin as a point of pride and contribution to mankind...(smile)
