When is a couple too old to have a baby? (376 hits)
That question crossed my mind over the weekend as I was reading that Robert De Niro and his wife, Grace Hightower, announced that they had a new daughter via surrogate. De Niro, 68, and the singer/actress, 56, have been married since 1997 and have a son, Eliot, 13. Let me first say congratulations to the couple, as a healthy baby is always an occasion to be celebrated. Now that that’s out of the way…
18 years ago a friend of mine, had a son at 74 years old. The son just started UCLA at 17 ------ with his mother................
as for me, I love the wife and if Allaah pleases the mother will graduate before her son, and will deliver another diploma with diaper before her son graduates..........
Age limits on having babies makes me think about Elizabeth and Zachariah. It's totally a miracle to have a baby at any age; especially if the couple is still fertile to do so. One may say they are too old, but older parents are usually more wiser in ways of training up a child. It's a choice older couples have and most I've known have no regrets.
Well men can have kids at almost any age. My husband's grandfather had a younger wife who had a son for him when he was 79. It depends on the strength of the seed in my opinion.
Definitely too, old shouldn't be the issue but whether one has the money, love, and the time to give to raising a child...
