I am a woman of strength, a woman of character, a woman of integrity, a woman who loves speaking to others. For many years this was not my declaration; even though from reading my Profile you would perhaps glean strength. I have in the last 3-5 years have come into my own skin. For a large part of my living I did not feel that I could bring anything of value to the table of life. I did not feel confident in the me that is Cynthia (Cea). Sustaining scars from craving the affections of my father left me always wanting to prove something to someone else. Being apart of the challenge of being an amputee left me feeling like a warrior on an island by myself.
There was a portion of me that embraced a knowledge that I am to exist without a voice. That I should remain invisible that way no one would have to see me. The thing is; is that I found contentment in living that existence and I carried it into my marriage. It gave me a false sense of security. A false sense of strength. It wasn't until this year The Sleeper Awakened. Something, I know now as the Authentic Me rose up and said: GET UP!!! YOU ARE OF VALUE!!! GET UP YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE TO THIS LIFE!!! GET UP AND FIGHT!!! And that is what I am doing...Becoming empowered every moment that G-d grants me favor to do so. My journey is continuing I will settle my accounts before I leave this world and meet Him in Heaven. Thank for sharing my journey.
