With its distinctive bright magenta candy wrapper packaging, the new gloss is fun, trendy, and retro. Specifically formulated for women of color, and those with tan or golden skin tones, the line introduces four novel shades: cocoa pink, sweet raisin, candy apple, and peach kiss. Tootsee Gloss is the brainchild of Los Angeles native Zuleika Hasbrouck, age 34, who spent nearly 15 years in the beauty, make-up, and entertainment industry before deciding to create Lovelei Cosmetics, LLC in 2003. The company has grown from a personal beauty consultation business to an up-and-coming niche business specializing in combining health and beauty by creating fresh, lightweight, cosmetics for women with a variety of enriched skin tones. "I believe that many women are looking for the right colors and shades of cosmetics with exotic oils, enhancing smooth texture and creating a luscious look," says Hasbrouck.
