I'm sure King has his point, but he probably doesn't have a clue to why the people were rioting. I'm in no way condoning rioting but the hand writing has long been on the wall not just in England, but in France as well.
The economy has just brought out the frustrations of the people that were beginning to boil. Perhaps people shouldn't loot or destroy their own neighborhoods, but until we have walked a day in someone else's shoes then we might need to pray rather than give our opinions.
Scapegoating Patois is ridiculous. What does that have to do with the price of tea in China? People are out of work and having a tough time. Poverty and Unequality is the problem.
