Weekly spelling tip: Making wagon ruts (984 hits)

Never settle for short-term learning.Did you know that a hundred years after the last wagon went over the Oregon Trail, you can still see the wagon ruts? Now that was a well-worn path ! The repetition over time formed a permanent trail. That's similar to what we want for our kids-permanent learning! If you include consistent review in your spelling lessons, you'll find HUGE benefits such as:

•Your student will absorb the information you teach
•Information will enter into his long-term memory
•Your learner will actually be able to recall information when he needs it
You will have provided the structure for the student to truly learn the material.
Keep treading that path until it is as permanent as the Oregon Trail-you and your student will still see the effects years from now!

Make spelling a joy!
