Special Needs Services
Reporting to the VP/Chief Medical Officer, you will utilize your healthcare management background to develop standards of care for Medicaid beneficiaries, while overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Medical Daycare Services (Adult & Pediatric), Personal Care Assistance, Home Health Care, Rehab Services, and the administration of Medicaid Waiver Programs.

Responsibilities will include:
• Developing and managing daily strategies/goals for the department
• Facilitating Case Management within a multitude of care settings
• Ensuring effective, efficient quality care and member safety
• Managing annual budgets and controlling costs
• Working with external entities to facilitate the implementation of new activities
• Directing managers and staff to ensure overall client satisfaction and appropriate level of service delivery
• Ensuring all regulatory requirements and policies/procedures
are met
• Assisting with special projects as assigned

To qualify, you must be a NJ State Licensed RN, with a Bachelor’s Degree, at least 10 years of healthcare and clinical operational management experience that includes familiarity with Medicaid, ABD or with chronically/medically fragile members, and the ability to ensure compliance with NCQA and CMS regulations. Knowledge of the health care delivery system, HMO’s (model and benefit contracts), supportive care principles, and current UM, CM and Pre-Admissions strategies. Additionally, you should be familiar with the nature/treatment of diseases and side effects of related therapy methods, as well rehab services, including Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy. Behavioral Health and Substance Abuse Care Coordination experience a plus. Behavioral health and substance abuse care coordination a plus. Master’s Degree in a health related field preferred.
