Planned Parenthood of Indiana has begun turning away patients with Medicaid health insurance, claiming it can’t afford to treat them anymore. The affiliate of the nation’s largest abortion business says it is facing a financial crisis six weeks after a new law pulled government funding from “any entity that performs abortions or maintains or operates a facility where abortions are performed.” Planned Parenthood has been pleading with U.S. District Judge Tanya Walton Pratt to block the law ; a ruling is expected before July 1.
