Never had one of those swings to nod in...I might would like that too! . I gotta wicker seat with a pillow cushion which I sit in from time to time it's under a tree in my yard..the summer breeze is warm...but it's pleasant and great for writing poetry.
Oh how I miss the good ole' South! To have a yard (not a patch of grass and call it a yard) sounds great. That's the thing about living in the city, one doesn't have the space and privacy because of the amount of people that flock to the city for jobs. I can't wait to go on vacation next month!

Hello to All,
A people such as us, Black Americans who are descendents of plantation slaves, have no time to play whether in New Jersey or elsewhere.
When you compare White America to us I know that I am right because White Americans had no time to play. They had one thing in mind and that was their Manifest Destiny from New York to California, am I right.
Consequentially, somebody is ignorant here and I know that White Americans are not ignorant. The proof is that the real estate of this continent is theirs known as the United States of America then they orchestrated our existence for the sole purpose of manual labor.
How is it that you all can take time to play and not want your sovereign freedom are just baffling to me? Moses was also baffled and taken aback by the ignorance of the children of Israel not wanting their Exodus as well. At the same time you all believe you are very intelligent people especially those of you on this site.
When will Black Americans at the least become as smart as White American people are?
Part of the South East and all of the North East is what Black Americans will inherit that will become our own country.
You Negroes need to prepare your ignorant minds to become a sovereign people. Therefore, all your foolish thinking and sucking up other people’s ways and religions are going to stop.
Some of us, but definitely our descendents are going to become the most upright and intelligent people running our own show that the world will marvel that yesterday we were dumb and ignorant but today we are leading the world in all sorts of technologies.
Neither Christianity nor Islam will be our religion in our sovereign country. The immigrants of good standing that we allow in our sovereign country are free to practice their own religion.
The name of our religion is LIFE. Our religion tells a story to the world that we were born into plantation slavery and how God came and deliver us from ignorance and having nothing of our own on this earth, but now we have our own religion and country.
We will also have a ritual to pay homage to God for rescuing us. The children of Israel have the Passover ritual. The Arabian people have the ritual of Ramadan.
Right now we dumb and ignorant Black Americans celebrates the European Gentile's ritual of Christmas and Easter and we are not Europeans. Some of ignorant Blacks celebrate the Arabian Ramadan and we are not Arabian people. Of course, you could see from what I just said how dumb and ignorant we are sucking up and taking on the ways, customs and beliefs of other people.
Do you ignorant Christian Blacks think that God would rescue the children of Israel but would not rescue Black Americans? You all are out of your cotton picking minds!
@Jen I saw a beautiful redbird right on the porch it came so near but I discovered he was after a worm which it scooped up and flew away quickly. Now, that's pure signs of Southern Living.
@Robert...the mornings are wonderful....I enjoy the fresh dewed grass and the air is so cool and fresh!

Oh.. Harry speaking of "cotton picking" cotton fields are spledid to look at. The rows of cottons can be quite beautiful too. Most of those are farther down South in Mississippi..but a few are in Arkansas and Tennessee too.

Thanks Brother Rob for trying to explain to ole' ignorant Harry with his psychobabble. He will never talk about anything else no matter what the blog topic is about except his talking points. He should go into politics while the rest of us enjoy our bug bites from sitting out on the front porch drinking our Southern ice tea.

@ Miisrael, I went out for a walk at the neighborhood track while my son rode his bike. There were lots of people out at the track; some were walking, some were running, some were playing soccer, others were riding their bikes, while some rollerbladed. Summer is really nice for getting outside and playing. My son at one point got off his bike to challenge some runners to a race.

Hello Ms. Shields,
Yes, cotton fields are beautiful. Nevertheless, I think you understand the point that I am making.
Jen...that's sounded like a summer's magical day. I think many times the power of play is so much overlooked. I get outside and just enjoy looking and viewing nature. I like summer...even if with it temperatures very hot!. Blowing bubbles hugs....OOOOOOOOOOOO...oooo.
Harry...I'm glad you admitted there is beauty in growing things...this shows if only me, that you have a soft side. It's all I wanted you to see if nothing else.. I'm giving you bubble hugs...
I like to get outside as much as possible no matter what the weather temperature. If its really hot, I where my straw hat and take water with me. I have to say that the Winter seems to be my best time because I find it easier to stay warm rather than trying to stay cool in the Summer.
