--PALACE INTRIGUE - WEINER FOUGHT PELOSI ON PRIVATE CALL -- A senior Democratic aide: "Leader Pelosi is a consensus builder and has always allowed her members room to make decisions. The turning point for Pelosi came Wednesday when additional photos emerged and the tenor of the Caucus changed. She felt that matter couldn't wait for an Ethics investigation and that he needed leave Congress. Starting Wednesday, Leader Pelosi, Congressman [Steve] Israel and other colleagues and friends spoke with Weiner and made the case that an ethics investigation would be drawn out [a year or more] and expensive; that the situation is a distraction; and that it would be better for Weiner to move forward with his treatment without the pressures of being a Member of Congress. (Note: Israel is one of only three Members invited to Weiner's wedding [also Crowley and Lowey], his involvement in the issue was because of their friendship not his role as DCCC chair.
"During a call on Friday (6/10) [between just Weiner and Pelosi], Weiner pushed back on Pelosi urging him to resign citing polls that said there was a majority supporting him in his district. Of the polling, Pelosi said to Weiner 'consider those rose petals to let you go graciously.' ... [On Wednesday], near the end of the White House picnic, Weiner told Israel he would resign via phone. Israel gave Pelosi his phone so she could get word from Weiner firsthand."
Jobs, Jobs, Jobs are to be talked about now that the "Weiner" is taking his weiner out of the picture. President Obama was right in stating that this whole thing is a HUGE distraction for the Nation. Weiner should take his perversion for treatment so that the Congress can get American people back to work.

but, as the Conservaties says he is not able to tell the truth "I" already know they will not play into this lie about them needing to get to talking about jobs or just allowing the house's minority party to bring the subject up, beyond the claims that America does not need jobs that don't pollute, can't be outsourced or pay living wages and health care, ect.(rotfl) (smile)

"I" gather it is just fine because this is america and a Christian nation therefore it is Pelosi's right and job discription to not call for the resignation of those who have been convicted of a federal crime( because prostitution is crime in all 50 states)...
and Weiner did not give a job to his misteress' husband and son and have his parents lie about the gift of over a $100.000 in black monies to his mistres and her husband to cover up yet another illegal federal law on lobby hirings being done...and, not tomention taht Pelosi has never called for a fellow democrat in the senate to resign after being convicte in a court of law or centured by tehsenat to resign...

Jen, you know I love you because I know you know as well as I do that the Republicans ran on Jobs, jobs and jobs and they have been the majority inthe house for 8 months now and not three or less weeks...
and, has CNN , the Conservatives began talking about jobs...now I do know that they are talking about how bad our president is for fighting against the jobs making living wages hourly from going to where they get nonliving wages hourly pay in South Carolian...Oh and by the way...
these jobs are the only $15.00, $20.00 , $30.00 and hour pay jobs that were fought successfully from bein gOUT SOURCED A FEW YEARS AGO( and would never have allowed the conditions aht caused the gulf strem's oil spill or so many Americans dead and dying in mine work all over our nation, as this is what Unions do)...see any connections in this?!? (smile)
ALL CAN BE CLASSIFIED AS HAVING THIS IN CONNECTIONS FROM WEINER TO JOBS AS CAUSED BY 'DISCRIMINATION' , = SINGLING OUT ONE SPECIFIC PERSON - GROUP- ORGINAZIATION TO BE TREATED DIFFERENTLY....
But, some of us don't see a convicted felon as must be far more respected than nonlaw breakers, so I am happy. (smile)
