President Obama has called for an end to those subsidies so we can reinvest that money in clean energy today - but it won't happen without both parties working together. Speaker John Boehner has already said [in an interview Monday in Ohio with ABC's Jon Karl] that ending this giveaway for the gas and oil industry is 'certainly something we should be looking at.' But we want to get the commitment in writing. Contact his office and ask him to make it clear if he stands with the energy companies or with the American people on this issue. Tweet Speaker Boehner ... Call the Office of the Speaker ... and then let us know how it went [in an email form].
--What the Speaker's office says: "This White House and Washington Democrats are flat-out desperate. ... The White House wants to raise taxes on oil companies, but have yet to explain how that would help lower gas prices. The Speaker wants to increase the supply of American energy and reduce our dependence on foreign oil. Over the next two weeks, consistent with our American Energy Initiative, Republicans will pass legislation to increase American energy supplies to help lower costs and create American jobs. If the White House and Democrats are serious about lowering gas prices, they will work with us to help solve this problem."

What are they (the government) going to give away next? One can rest assured, they're not going to give it to us...with the exception of the bill.
My question to you is what could Black Americans as a whole including you do about oil companies receiving a $4 billion tax break?
Would not your intelligent served you better to want Black Americans as a whole including your self to become a sovereign people on a fertile portion of this continent that we could call our very own country with borders?
Your concern of oil companies receiving tax breaks is moot!
Black America's only sensible obligation as descendents of slaves is to become a sovereign people. Tax breaks for the oil companies is a White American issue. This is their country and their government. Should you not want a country to have your own government? I should think so. Having our own country and government will remove the unnecessary burden that you are carrying around concerning what White American people do, am I right.
The French and Chinese people are not concerned about the tax breaks White America gives to oil companies because they have a country of their own to be concerned about, am I right.
It appears at least here inCa. our presidnet's saying he will send those setting prices at aht gas pumps accountablle is being heard loud and clear...gas prices are not STILL risinging and in some stations going down...
