Introducing "Leadership Tuesday's" from WOMEN AT LIBERTY (812 hits)
According to "Women In America, Indicators of Social and Economic Well-Being", a report released by the White House Council on Women and Girls, women are 61% of the United States' labor force. Yet, women represent only 15 or 3% of the Fortune 500 CEOs, 15% of the executive management positions in the Fortune 500 companies and 88 seats or 16.4% of 112th Congress of the United States. Further, although women are attaining more education and advanced degrees, the male-female pay gap is still signficant and 'persists at all levels of education for full-time workers'.
