Watching the news lately, we see the uprising in Egypt. Witnessing anyone angry, sad, or plain unhappy often affects how we feel as well.
However, you must remember that this is their "stuff," and it doesn't have to be your "stuff" too. You can choose what you allow to come into your consciousness. You can choose to suffer with one person, or a group of suffering people.
Regarding the situation in Egypt, I've read about their plight and I have joined with them in solidarity because I am do feel their struggle for equality and all that is right. As I've stated on many blogs, "the Pharoah must GO!" I see him leaving and the speedy resolution to Egypt's Civil Right's Problem.
Regarding something else you stated in your commentary;
"If you are working with grumpy, gossipy, rude, egotistical co-workers or bosses, know they are simply reacting to their insecurities and fears. ... You can protect yourself from their "stuff," by surrounding yourself with love, and sending it to them as well. Yes, they will feel will feel your vibration of love because we are all one." ...
I so much love this because it is so true! Love is such a powerful force and it blots out evil. I know that my colleagues have various issues going on in their personal lives because they tend to talk to their cliques regarding it. I pray for them and have asked God to help them to have peace in their lives, but I would like to see them leave the problems at the door once they come into the professional environment. I know that's just not so easliy done so I've decided to ignore some of their foolishness and keep it moving by being the loving and friendly person I have always been. It baffles their minds!
