Palin: Tucson finger-pointing 'irresponsible' (1330 hits)

Sarah Palin: "America's Enduring Strength" from Sarah Palin on Vimeo.

Responding to criticism that a heated political climate was a factor in the weekend attack that seriously injured Rep. Gabrielle Giffords and killed six others, Sarah Palin expressed "sadness" about "irresponsible statements from people attempting to apportion blame" for the tragedy.

The video, which appeared under the headline "America's Enduring Strength," was posted early Wednesday on the former Alaska governor's website.

Palin has been criticized by some for using crosshairs on a website graphic to indicate congressional districts, including Giffords', where she wanted Republicans to win in last fall's election.

It also emerged that authorities responded to shooting suspect Jared Loughner's Arizona home at least once before Saturday's attack.

Pima County Sheriff's Department spokesman Jason Ogan said he didn't know why or when the visit occurred. Department lawyers were reviewing the paperwork and expected to release it Wednesday, he added.

The visits to the Loughner home were for nonviolent incidents, including a report by Jared Loughner of identity theft, a noise complaint and the suspect's mother's claim that someone had stolen her license plate sticker, according to The Wall Street Journal.
In a separate statement released Tuesday, Ogan noted that the department "was not aware of any threats made to Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, any other government official, or to any member of the public" prior to Saturday's shooting at a

Interviews with those who knew Loughner or his family painted a picture of a young loner who tried to fit in.

Loughner lived at home with his parents, worked low-wage jobs at big brand stores and volunteered time doing things he liked.

When is this women going to take responsibility for her actions. She couldn't simply give her condolences, instead of doing that, she tried to turn the tables, taking swipes at others, instead of excepting her own hand in this. She's is a fake, a quitter, and thank God every time she opens her mouth, people are starting to see her for who she really is.

@ Sister Anita,
I fully understand and agree with you on this matter. Did you see the Gov's (Jan Brewer's) speech where she read Isaiah 40:31? I just looked saying to myself this woman can't be serious. What Arizona needs to do if "she" wants to rise again is revisit those silly gun laws over there where people can carry fire arms openingly and can get them easily.

I didn't see all of her speech. I actually tuned her out. She actually quoted the bible huh? Another one using the bible as a front to do their nastiness!

Yep... she read a scripture and then said Arizona would rise again... the floor of the House/Senate clapped for a good two minutes when she made her rise again speech. Shucks that's like putting a bandaid on a gaping wound.

Palin is irresponsible; she will never take responsibility for the bullcrap she says and does.

After Giffords called out Palin's gunsight map targeting her and other democrats months ago, she should at the very least acknowledge that such imagery is probably not helpful in terms of the climate that's been created. The LEAST she could have done is acknowledge that and vow to never indulge in it again.

But this cheap woman lives for attention, and no longer being able to screech "don't retreat, reload" to gain attention, rather than speaking on matters of substance, is something she can't bear to give up.

What her response should tell people is, here is a deceitful, selfish, small-minded, mean spirited, hate-filled fool of a woman who thinks of no one but herself. She is the poster child behind the phrase, the banality of evil.

Wow Clark, those are some words. I've never heard from anything like that from you before on BIA. She must have really got your goat!.LOL, but it sure does describe her to a tee. She's never going to learn. Its not in her nature, and we all know she walks to a different drum, and thinks its all about Sarah's world. I think its time for Mama Grizzley to go back home and continue to hunt caribu, fish, shoot wolves, and whatever else she likes to do up in Alaska.

No you didn't Sista say she had an insatiable need, thats not insatiable, that's a destructive and rebellious spirit. She has a narcissistic behavior, like Hitler and we all know what he did. You know what amazes me and of course is left out of all discussions. She has never extended a hand to a minority, spoke out about a minority issue, platformed for any minority stands etc. She's just plain old sad!

Sista Irma, I'm screaming right now. You are too much! What you guys think of the President' speech, and the girl tried to upstage him, with those sad 8 minutes of nothing but nonsense.
Food Bank, she don't need no food bank, she'll just go jump on her ATV and run up into the woods and shoot some meat for dinner, bring it home, gut it and fix it real nice, present it at the table and then go get pretty for Todd. Just kidding!. The president said be civil and stop blaming. I was just being a nasty. My bad. At least I can apologize. Smile!

Brother Clark,
You sure know how to make a girl work, eh? But Still be the man, though! Ok so ba·nal·i·ty means being trivial: The banality of the speaker's remarks put the audience to sleep. ... Also "In 1963, Hannah Arendt coined the term "banality of evil" to characterize the bureaucrats and "ordinary people" who carried out the Holocaust in her book Eichmann in Jerusalem". ...

I'll have to use that pharse with some of my colleagues from time to time. Yes I agree with you on your banality of evil comment, because all Ms. Palin had to do was say that she was praying for the victims families and for Rep Gifford. Perhaps say that she apologizes for any damage her Target Webpage may have caused and that in the future she would endeavor to do things differently. What about even paying the Congresswoman a visit in the hospital and visiting her family would have went a long way. Instead she used her hour of redemption to play the tit for tat game. She missed it.

Me, right now I am giving praises to Palin's insatiable needs to speak and promote the Teaparty. example,

Fox is owned by a Jew, fninance by middle-east money and yet not one Jew has come out to condemn what she had to say about Christians killing Jews in her statement trying to defend herself...

and, has anyone see the reports of teh parentsOF J.L. saying they had no idea their son was mentally ill???? what is this going to say about how the schools, ect. did not get help for J.L???????????!!!!!!!!?.....

again, it is not getting better and better for the defense of this HOME GROWN TERRORITS" HUH??? lol (SMILE)

I live for the day the parents say the word GOD/ JEW without a bad taste in their mouths that will show up in their body language.(otflmao) (smile)

Thursday, April 10th 2014 at 6:47PM
@Anita, I chant(pray) that this will allow us to actually look at the similarieties between Palin as leader of teh Teaparty and the mission of Hitler to create a perfect race of peoples...

and, pay colser attention at how the governor of Az. can not even r-e-a-d, properly (smile) and we also notice that tis state along with the state of Arkansa are not front and center on discrimination and racism dispite the words racism, racist has been baned and replaced by "mentally ill"...

being expert in code words (not automatic rifles) is a good thing. lol (smile)
Thursday, April 10th 2014 at 6:47PM
She is exactly what we need right now...intime we will be better to understand it all...

just keep the faith that this too will pass as we continue to have faith in WE SHALL OVER COME SOME DAY. LOV YA ALL (SMILE)

wELL, CAN WE ASK IF TODD ?!? looooooooool ...Palin's stash is going to go towards all of there law suits...and now taht the Republicans are going to use her as their weapon against the Teaparty to better show they are not racist / mentally ill...I can't wait, because they can only milk this not going to the floor to repeal teh health care bill cow so long...

ans since, I have not heard the word health care, I wonder if they will just wait for 2012 to even mention how much those not killed's hospital bills are and who are going to pay them..do any of them have jobs taht are going to fire them because they are not unioned and have no sick days with pay leaves ??????????????????????

now tell me this is not good for main street America? (smile)
Thursday, April 10th 2014 at 6:47PM
...I realize Palin have only two moves...stuck on stupid and backwards...but I hope she is not so brain dead that she can not realize these two things she can no longer associate her public image with ... a gun and a mother bear not even thinking the words in public or private, because I know there are many wanting to prove they are not still her backers...who knows as Fox already has tried to disconnect her as well as J.L. from the teaparty by claiming that racist organization and communist China, maybe ?!?...

I know not Russia...because Russia will strike right back at america if they try this... back (rotflmao (smile)
Thursday, April 10th 2014 at 6:47PM
...My intent was to ask if Todd has a job yet????????loooooooool (smile)
Thursday, April 10th 2014 at 6:47PM
I take back my comment about the Jews not condemning Palin for her 'Blood Libel' comment...

A Jewish person on Countdown said , "Unless Palin has been accused of killing Christian children and using their blood to put in making motza balls then she had no buisness even bringing blood Libel up in teh first place".

Palin be warned, the mass media from : newsprint, to tv to the movie industry are owned by J-E-W-S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol (smile)
