Two of the most famous women in the world aren't gettlng along well these days. Oprah Winfrey told Extra earlier this week that she asked former Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin to appear on her talk show. But the Alaska Governor snubbed Oprah, possibly because she was busy keeping an eye on Russia for us. "I said I would be happy to talk to Sarah Palin when the election was over...I went and tried to talk to Sarah Palin and instead she talked to Greta [Van Susteren]. She talked to Matt [Lauer]. She talked to Larry [King]," Winfrey said. "But she didn't talk to me." Oprah even got in a little dig at John McCain's running mate. "Maybe she'll talk to me now that she has a [multi-million dollar] book deal," she said. Snaps, yo! We're excited to hear Palin's rambling response.(Hollywood Gossip)
Oprah on Sarah Palin Presidential Chances: Nil! From one influential to woman to another, Oprah Winfrey has a message for Sarah Palin: best of luck with that 2012 Presidential campaign... you'll need it! In the latest issue of Parade, the talk show host refers to the reality star as "charming and likable." But can she foresee Palin as President of the United States? No. "It does not scare me because I believe in the intelligence of the American public," Oprah said. Winfrey also admits she's "succumbed" to the notion that she's a "brand," while explaining how Michael Jackson influenced her decision to branch off with her own network. "I thought, I don't want to be Michael Jackson. This [Vanity Fair] article specifically said that after Thriller, which sold over 100 million albums and is still the highest-selling album of all time, when he then did Bad, which sold 20 million albums, he felt like a failure. Anybody today would bow down in prayer for 20 million. "I didn't want to be that person who's been given this great opportunity of a network and thinking, but how am I going to make it what the Oprah Show has been for 25 years? What I recognize is that it took me at least 10 solid years to build [that show]."
I guess Oprah is more formidable than a caribou.

You right brotha Clark, but she may just be stupid enough to think she can touch her, for no other reason than to keep her name in the spotlight, and because she has a few followers, strangers things have been known to happen. Brotha Richard, she sure did, and with such class!

@Steve, Lady O is far too smart and street wise to allow her good name and fame and forturn and valuable time to be cheapened for a presidential run against Mr. Obama.(otflmao) (smile)
